Description: This stylized mural depicts a portion of the entrance to Lompoc’s first La Purisima Mission that was located at what is now Locust Avenue and South F Street. The artist selected several symbolic reference points… choosing to highlight a mission bench to provide people an opportunity to complete the design of the mission in their own minds.
